If you are in the location with heavy wireless routers nearby, then there is a good chance your Netgear router is struggling with radio interference from other wireless routers – working on the same wireless frequency to send and receive signals.
Find out the optimal wireless channel for your home and changing your Netgear Nighthawk router to operate on that particular wireless channel. You can try a WiFi analyzer to analyze your area and find the best wireless channel.
